French Toast
 
Ingredients
  • 6 thick slices of bread
  • 2 eggs
  • ⅔ cup milk
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • powdered sugar (optional)
Instructions
  1. Beat together eggs, milk, salt, spices and vanilla in a medium bowl.
  2. Heat a lightly oiled skillet over medium high heat.
  3. Dunk each slice of bread in egg mixture, soaking both sides. Place in skillet and cook on both sides until both sides are golden.
  4. Serve right away and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
